[REVIEW] Avène Cleanance Anti-shine Purifying Lotion

(Photo taken from Google)

I love this kind of toners that have dual liquid and powder formulation. They normally* gives better effect to sooth and mattifying excess oil.

What more this have Avène Thermal Spring Water in it! Extra soothing, softening. They don't irritate and have anti-inflammatory properties.

For:
Oily, blemish-prone sensitive skin

Application:
Shake well before use, apply day and night with a cotton pad after cleansing.

My thoughts:
This is a nice soothing and calming toner for oily, pimple and sensitive skins. It's lightly scented, feels refreshing on skin without stingy. Didn't irritate my skin, pores feels tighten. Do calm some redness on my cheek area. But you will still need to moisturizes your skin, should complete with a lightweight and oil-controlling moisturizer to prolong that effect.
I would always go back to this toner when my skin are messing around with me:/ For normal days I will stay with my other toner because my skin doesn't always stays that oily.
Previously, I did got a sample size from OnlyBeauty.com.my which come in handy too.

Haul - Cheap Eye Mask

*Sorry for the snapshot picture*

My order of eye masks from qoo10 arrived this morning. It was very very cheap deal so definitely a yes to grab it. Even I still have a jar of eye masks. -_- I bought 25pcs.

They are those Crystal Collagen kinds of eye mask, I took all 4 types of them. But mainly on the Deck out women crystal & Gold Powder for my mummy. Other 2 blackies are for trying out.

All freshly manufactured, packed with lots of serum. A tip I can give you is other than the dates, you can always check out the serum in the package. Even there's still "some" time before it expired, the serum actually will reduced by itself! It's still usable but there's a feeling of not so moist anymore... Once I saw a clearance sale for Crystal Collagen face mask in a shop but there's no whatever dates printed so I checked the serum in them and I didn't buy any. So don't stock up too many and don't use them.

Maybe if they're in the fridge they would stay juicy for longer? Hmmm...

[REVIEW] Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque

*Mud Day* hehe.
Today I picked this, Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque with Natural English Clay. You can see I have been using this quite a lot too. Another favourite must be their Mint Julep Masque! This is a nice basic mud mask. I normally use this once in every week or whenever I am feeling extra oily... Is also a really a quick "pick-me-up" mask! Not only is cheap but it's in a big tube of 226.8g!

It's say:
It uses natural english clay to clean your pores, tighten skin and relaxes your facial muscle to soften lines & wrinkles.

Application:
After cleansing I will just smack generously on my face (sometimes on my neck too) and wait about 10-15 minutes and wash it off with a facial sponge.
It dries easily so I will spray some water/mist on to it, this helps to let it stay longer a bit too.

My thoughts:
My skin feels soft and smooth after using this~
My pores do shink a bit too and my favourite part of using clay masks it they absorb those extra oils!
Comes in a creamy texture with a rosy scent, perhaps due to being English clay? But I'm kinda used to the scent now compare to the first time when I'm using it. Cheap & huge tube, if you're a clay mask person, you should try this out!

Hi, new blog.

Obviously the blog was named after my favourite cookie, oat and raisin!
I love chocolate cookies too but there are times that I wasn't the mood for something that rich and loving so I would definitely go for Oat and Raisin! With a hint of spices~ it just never fail on me.

Take care & See ya!
